Panasonic Avionics’ eXConnect system will be available to both China’s domestic airlines as well as Panasonic’s 39 customer airlines with routes in the region.

“Over the past six months since we announced the MOU with China Telecom Satellite, we have made great progress,” Paul Margis, Panasonic Avionics’ chief executive said in a news release. “Now we are collectively ready to begin this very important service to our airline customers and their passengers.”

Panasonic Avionics, a subsidiary of Panasonic Corporation of North America, has more than 3,100 employees and serves over 200 customers worldwide.
